the best course of action when all is against you is to slow down and think critically about the situation. this way you are not blindly rushing into an ambush and your mind is doing something useful rather than getting you killed.Comment

Other: My favorite PC at the moment is a sort of a toned down combination of butt-kicker, method actor, idiot, and homicidal PC. I find that I really enjoy playing combat-competent comic relief- a tough guy who doesn't take himself- or anything else, for that matter- too seriously. I play with abandonment, cautious abandonment, with lots of planning and within a very carefully researched player concept acted upon with a method that should get me nominated for an academy award. Seriously portrayed but with the GM in mind at all times so as to be an asset to the game and those less fortunate.Tis better to do than to do not.
