Love it... looks like though there might have been a red storm arising in 92 by the sounds of it...

There are lots of bits taken from a huge range of sources. I put that bit in as a nod to one of the best WW3 novels I've read.

If anybody spots anything that goes against cannon please let me know.

Good stuff James. While I'm partial to V1, I find this to be the best treatment of V2 that I've ever seen. Keep the goodies coming.

          Thanks.

I have also removed the part on late war US replacement policies as I am fairly sure I didn't write the basic document and will need to rewrite it.

Thanks for the latest (1997) file James. Great read as always.

Not nip-picking at all but is the page set-up correct from page 51 onwards (which it always has been in the past) or is it just me (with is most likely). Loads of pics over the top of text.

No, my fault it looks as if I accidentally put a pic from 1998 in there and it messed up the formatting. I will sort and repost.

                          1999 onwards

                          The rest of the history.

Be aware it is still a work in progress, especially 2001 onwards. If anyone has any cannon info on the Saudi War I would be grateful.

Well I have a little bit of canon information, from the post-Twilight War history published in the Traveller 2300 Players Handbook:

The Saudi War (2010 to 2013): France, Great Britain, Bavaria, Japan and Egypt occupied the Saudi oil fields in 2008 (to assure oil production for Europe) replacing United States forces which had been in the region since the start of World War III. Iran objected to the occupation, and the Saudi War (2010 to 2013) began with an Iranian attack on the occupation forces, and ended with the establishment of a buffer zone along the northern edge of the Saudi peninsula.

The French role in the Saudi War was an expression of its new status in the world. France was the only global power; interested in commerce and stability, it injected its presence anywhere in the world that its interests were present. France was creating the French Peace.
