  • Challenge Magazine index for issues 51 to 77

As many of you may know, an index of all the different articles for all the RPGs covered to that time was published in issue 50 of Challenge Magazine. Challenge went on to publish another 27 issues before it finally folded, but there wasn't a published index for those (although someone mentioned on this forum recently that one of the online sellers of the Challenge PDFs have their own index).

I'm attaching to this thread my own index of Challenge Magazine articles in issues 51 to 77, in MS Word format. The index only includes Twilight: 2000 and Merc: 2000 articles, but unlike the index in Challenge issue 50, I've tried to include a geographical location and basic synopsis of each article in my index.

I hope that some of you may find it useful.

      Oh no you don't!!!
If it moves, shoot it, if not push it, if it still doesn't move, use explosives.

I have acquired all Challenge and JOAT mags, ended up writing myself a simple Notepad document for little things to use in games and such, glad someone else has done a better job.

Now all we need to do is find a way to get you some VB...

In for a penny, in for a pound. I guess I should give the first 50 issues the same treatment. All the index in Challenge #50 provides is the article titles. I'll get to work on expanding my index later this week.

I took the PDF and pulled out the text and put it in a spreadsheet. Then, i added the articles from Challenge 25-50.

              Why a spreadsheet

You can sort by or filter by any particular column as you wish.

Anyway, enjoy as you see fit.
