tritium based night sights would cease to glow after ~20-30 years.
sealed optics might start to leak depending on how well they're maintained.
older unsealed optics if maintained will work about as well as they ever had.
as for holo sights and such, assuming batteries with a charge can be acquired would still need their illuminator replaces after some time.the best course of action when all is against you is to slow down and think critically about the situation. this way you are not blindly rushing into an ambush and your mind is doing something useful rather than getting you killed.
