Does anyone have this thing written up I'm trying to put together a Basic Load for it. That, and a line drawing from the side, similar to how the V-150's and such are drawn, would be great. Can anyone help Been looking all night...

The best I can find so far is from DeviantArt

I guess the basic load depends on who has it and what it's intended for; recon, strike, science etc.

      Ouch

The side-mounted MGs are "30 caliber," so I am assuming 7.62x51mm, and likely going with the MAG 60/30, normally used in aircraft.

The fixed forward guns I'm thinking M85, even though they apparently suck.

That "missile launcher" up top is actually a pair of 7-tube 2.75" rocket pods, most likely an XM157A, firing unguided rockets.

I can probably figure out the length and such by using the length of the rocket pod, and using the pod as a ruler.

Length and a very few more stats are included in this 1977 Popular Mechanics article. I don't have the entire issue and don't recall where I actually found this.

            That helps a bit.

35' long. From that, we can get all the other measurements. Awesome. Thanks!

For what it's worth, those .30 calibre guns might actually be the Browning M1919 which is normally found in .30-06 (I say normally because some countries converted them to 7.62x51mm)
The M1919 would be a more compact design for turret use than using one of the 7.62x51mm machine guns.

                Brownings

I have the early Project using the M1919A6 in 7.62x51mm, and also issuing M14s, with a modified Garand as the Sniper/Marksman's rifle (before the M21 was standardized). But then, I have the Project using a bunch of oddball weapons based on a little reality and some pure conjecture.

But anyway, the MAG 60/30 could easily be a replacement for the original M1919, with some units getting the newer weapon, and other, older units still having the older weapon.

If you're using the MAG 60-30 for vehicle use you could easily substitute it for the MAG 60-40. Although designed as a co-ax gun, it's probably got more usefulness than the 60-30 version because it's a typical practice to issue ancillary items such as the butt stock and the bipod so that the co-ax MAG can be taken out of the vehicle and used as a normal infantry machine gun by the vehicle crew.

Glad you said this. It was supposed to be the 60/40. I put down the wrong number, and it ended up in every entry...

I feel your pain, I've made similar mistakes on player handouts and not realised until after I had printed the sheets!
Hopefully you caught the error before you had players asking you about it

I skip the forums for a while (mostly due to wonders of issues, and no real gaming groups) to see the picture I posted up of the Landmaster done (yes, that's my DA account) however.

The source I had listed them as AN/M2 Calibre 50's (the ones on the F4-U Corsair) but I can easily go with them being M1919 Calibre 30's

As for the pods on top, I left that bit out mostly as I saw them more as "mission configurable" loadouts, either a handwavium multi-TOW holder, 3in or 5in rocket pods, even if you want to go weird, recoilless rifles.

But yeah, just a quick doodle for a thing that fell flatter than Illinois.

Try going with the US M-240C, Basic MAG-59 receiver, shortened barrel, no buttstock and half of the pistol grip cut off, its actually smaller than a M1919.

Hey all, I found this while browsing pages for the Ark II vehicle, thought some of you might be able to make use of it despite the translation problem.
                            Found it here: - https://rolltop-indigo.blogspot.com/...ture-ride.html
