Need an opinion about a possible site change

Some vehicles have a plethora of different variants -- they all share the same basic chassis, but have quite different layouts and functions. I was thinking about unifying these different variants on one page for each type of vehicle, such as having all the M-113 variants in one place, all the LAV-25 variants on one page, etc.

I have two ideas on this -- one would be to have these unifying pages as additional pages, and the other would be that these unifying pages would replace the existing entries dispersed across different pages.

I like the additional pages idea. Of course that's just a selfish advice as I know how to get around your site as it is and don't like to see my habits being changed.
