Just a touch this side of insulting!
Nah, not really. No insult here. Canada (the english speaking side that is) is simular to the U.S.A. We use a lot of their actors, because we can't get are own. We are a lot different compared to the Aussies and New Zealanders though. They both have similar military units like the SAS. They fight the same wars together. They both have the whole royal crown thing going on. Both flushed your gun culture down the toilet about the same time. It's like what one does so does the other. That's my point on why they are pretty much the same country.
Canada is still to connected to the crown to be like the U.S.A. Hell it really is almost two seperate countries itself with the French side and the English side.

Yeah, I think I remember that one. The dude just erases the borderline.

As far as the Moari being bad asses, hey I don't know it depends who you ask. I mean being a Moari alone isn't gonna cut it alone. Otherwise Americans would be the biggest bad asses by being American alone and that isn't necessarly true. We beat the Brits twice, the Moari didn't. But it's relative, because it's up to the individual not their culture/race. I mean I heard Gurkas are supposed to be these super warriors and then I heard the opposite about them too. The Repubilican Guard was suppose to been top notch, but they disappeared.
I'm not blasting anyone, but I think we give too much credit to groups of people rather then certain individuals. I mean like "oh my god here comes a Apache warrior he so dangerous he'll kill us all and we have no chance". But wait a minute he might be a horrible warrior. We don't know till we know even if it's to late.

Don't mean to high jack the thread. But, this is great to see peoples points of view.

Culture can make a huge difference in the averages of how "fierce" a people can seem. However all individuals must be looked as individuals. One of the characters in the show I mentioned above is half Maori and is much more like to attack you with a sardonic barb than a Patu.

Even as a proud American I have to admit we would not have beaten the British the first time without the French. So by an extension of your logic the French should be considered culturally "bad ass". There is so much more to who wins a conflict that the relative ranking of warrior cultures.

            We beat the Brits once.

In 1812 our expedition to Canada got it's dick slapped down hard. And the Brits burned our capitol to the ground. Since the Brits were still fighting the Napoleonic wars they couldn't bring their full weight to bear so the war was nothing but a costly stalemate that both sides were happy to negotiate an end to. All the treaty of Ghent got us was the status quo ante bellum. Nothing changed. The brits even kept impressing our sailors into the Navy until after the defeat of Napoleon. That massive victory we got in 1814 down in New Orleans, which I admit was about as impressive as the Battle of Agincourt as far as one-sided slaughters go, happened after the peace treaty had been signed. After getting our capital burned to the ground, it's a bit like losing a football game but winning the fight in the parking lot afterwards.

Thought I'd just say it before all the Brits pile on about it.

Now, can we go back to posting pics of hot chicks in uniform please.
