  • OT: Cautionary Note, MAED

I'm struggling through my Master's program with the Univerisity of Phoenix. At this point, I really have to say that if anyone out there is thinking of becoming a credentialed teacher in the US, you should avoid the Univerisity of Phoenix. The program is poorly run. The mucky-mucks talk a good game, but they don't back it up with anything. The best that can be said is that I'll have a graduate degree by the end of the coming school year. But the program offers belated and minimal support to its students in many critical aspects. If the VA weren't paying most of the tuition, I'd feel ripped off.

I hear you, I have wife, both my sister-in-laws, and mother who are teachers.
