Begin Heck, its been in progress since the KEGS <plural yes, many kegs mmmmmmmm> arrived on Wed. And as the song goes,
We got the pig in the ground, we got the beer on ice and all my roudy freinds are comming over tonight.
What is this, I have no beer in hand or in my system at the moment. No wonder I am so dehydrated, parched even! And word has it some mortars are being errected sometime in the next 24 hours to celebrate ....oh wait, this whole holiday probably isn't celebrated to well with the members across the pound....

And amidst all of the explosives, BBQs and booze, let's take a moment to remember the birth of this great nation and the men who helped form it and give it a solid foundation to build upon. While it hasn't always been the best upward building of this nation, I'm eternally grateful for the people who fought for independence.

Best wishes to my American friends. May your nation always stand strong (because if it doesn't my nation is going to look like a really juicy target for its north-western neighbours!). Cheers!

"One more thing, this summer when you're being inundated with all this American bicentennial Fourth Of July brouhaha, don't forget what you're celebrating, and that's the fact that a bunch of slave-owning, aristocratic, white males didn't want to pay their taxes."
Name that film.
Happy 4th, BTW.

I cut-and-pasted the whole quote into Google, and got 1993's Dazed and Confused. I've never seen it, but it sounds interesting.
