        LOL. I don't think so. I was born in New Zealand so unlike many Australians I don't have that Steve Irwin-esque drive to touch wild creatures that could easily kill me.

        There are already so many things in the Australian bush (or even in a typical Australian back yard) that could kill a person, I definitely don't have any urge to go looking for a giant, angry reptile to rip into my leg.

        There is a joke they tell in the northern parts of Australia, about a tourist asking a local if it is ok to swim at a beach as he had heard about crocodiles being in the area. The local says there are no crocs in the area so the tourist jumps in the water. Then the local adds "There are no crocs in that water because the sharks killed them all".
