I think he was probably referring to this...

I saw a couple of trailers for it at the time, but didn't watch it (I'm neither a Big Brother fan nor a huge fan of zombie movies) so can't comment on ot.

Might be worth checking Youtube or similar

Dead Set was entertaining. BBC America showed it over here at some point along the way. Apparently it's more entertaining if you've seen the UK Big Brother, since my understanding is that some of the victims of the zombies are people from different seasons of the show.

Yes, I'm reading Walking Dead. It's pretty good overall but really violent and dark. I was actually quite surprised that a basic cable channel (AMC) picked it up for a short series. In my mind, it's more appropriate fare for R-rated HBO or Showtime. From my understanding, though, the TV episodes will only cover the first 12 or so issues of the comic, before it starts getting really grim and brutal. The comic definitely takes a cynical, pessimistic view of human nature. It's kind of like The Road, in that respect.

I'm also a reader of "The Walking Dead" but I have to say that my favourite horror comic is "Crossed" from Avatar Press.
