I shot this in August at a demonstration on Ft. Benning. In light of kalos72s recent questions about MTOEs and capabilities, I thought he might get a kick out of it at the least.

They sounded the same speed to me, but the pitch was slightly different. My guess is the acoustics were a little different due to the shape and location of the firing positions, along with range from the microphone to the firing weapons. That would certainly give the illusion of different RPMs.If it moves, shoot it, if not push it, if it still doesn't move, use explosives.

Both, most likely, but more so of this. Still, it's probably slightly different. After all, a weapon technically has a range for a cyclic rate usually something like 450-650 rpms, or 700-900 rpms, etc. Machining differences, care and maintenance, and sometimes just blind personality of the guns.Originally posted by Legbreaker View Post
