I shot this in August at a demonstration on Ft. Benning. In light of kalos72s recent questions about MTOEs and capabilities, I thought he might get a kick out of it at the least.

Thanks Ed, cool vid. I have a question. When the two Stryker vehicles are firing hull-down in their prepared positions during the first quarter of the vid, why does it sound like the .50 cal on the left hand Stryker has a slightly lower rate of fire than the Stryker on the right Or is it just an acoustical illusionsigpic "It is better to be feared than loved" - Nicolo Machiavelli

They sounded the same speed to me, but the pitch was slightly different. My guess is the acoustics were a little different due to the shape and location of the firing positions, along with range from the microphone to the firing weapons. That would certainly give the illusion of different RPMs.If it moves, shoot it, if not push it, if it still doesn't move, use explosives.

Frex, we received two brand new M2s upon our return (still in packing grease and plastic, mind you), took them to the range, and one wouldn't fire except single-shot. No viable explanation except it was a bad gun.Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
