Fuck being a hero. Do you know what you get for being a hero? Nothing! You get shot at. You get a little pat on the back, blah blah blah, attaboy! You get divorced... Your wife can't remember your last name, your kids don't want to talk to you... You get to eat a lot of meals by yourself. Trust me kid, nobody wants to be that guy. I have friends of mine from when i was in the navy who still use my artwork to illustrate their characters. And that was twenty years ago.
Damn... twenty years.... it doesn't feel that long ago. It really makes me feel like an old broken down... well, you get the idea.
But back on track... money isn't the only thing i take in payment for my art. So don't worry if you're as skint as me ($1170.00 a month VA disability only goes so far you know).Fuck being a hero.
