    Caught this when I logged in today.

    Some of the actions that took place on D-Day under his leadership have been used and study even today.

    A moment of silence for another one of the Greatest Generation!

    Had the priveledge to meet Major Winters at Fort Bragg. A true gentleman.

      He was on the list of people I have read about that I would of loved to have meet, but I didn't.

      Yes and the list of "Band of Brothers" was already getting short on survivors, and just got shorter.

        I attended one of his lectures, a true officer and gentleman!!
        The reason that the American Army does so well in wartime, is that war is chaos, and the American Army practices chaos on a daily basis.
