  • UK Silencers/suppressors

    Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has had experience with silencers/suppressors that the UK army would have used during the Twilight war time frame

I know the SAS/SBS had them for their Browning HP's and from my own experience I know that several of these would have walked to other units.

So does anyone know the model numbers and/or makers Thanks.

By 1995 the HP may be being supplemented by the P226/228. I assume there is a silencer for these.

I use the Welrod pistol as this was in use to at least 1990.

SMG wise the L34A1 was largely replaced by the MP5SD series.

Have a look at my UK rifles/small arms article.
