  • Soviet Army OrBats

Found this page through some Cold War wargaming site and thought some of you might like to check it out.
Clicking on the year you're interested in loads another page with various formations at battalion, regimental, division and brigade levels
Clicking on one of them loads a PDF with icons representing the various vehicles and other equipment but no names which is a pain in the rear because frankly, I can't tell one Soviet artillery piece from another when it's just a silhouette.

SSC, just ask and I'm sure there'll be a nice debate about what the said silhouette is...
"Listen to me, nugget, and listen good. Don't go poppin' your head out like that, unless you want it shot off. And if you do get it shot off, make sure you're dead, because if you ain't, guess who's gotta drag your sorry ass off the field? Were short on everything, so the only painkiller I have comes in 9mm doses. Now get the hell out of my foxhole!" - an unknown medic somewhere, 2013.

Perhaps a debate along the lines of "Are they flying foxes Orbats"

Edit: Sorry about that. Zoological humor. It's a niche gig.

I found these explanations on the silhouettes.

            OMG!
Are we being attacked from space by winged mammals

But on a more serious note...

            Thank you Medic
I didn't look for anything like that because I was being lazy so thank you again for taking the time to find it

There is a Legend attached to the same website that names the silhouettes.
