  • melee combat

let's divide melee into 3 categories.

    Grappling
    kicking
    punching

skill-specializing results in max in one category and half in the 2 others
experts (8 or more) gets full in all

no o attacks = melee skill divided by 3 rounded down

all well and good up to this point,BUT

-i would like to see even more specialized rules for martial artists in other words

a boxer(pro boxer) would get punching bonus but a real disadvantage for kicks and a real penalty if he is taken to the ground

So i'm looking for input on bonuses and penalties for various martial art styles

firstly I would like to get a list of various martial arts styles,,,,,

I watch a lot of -ufc / pride etc / mma so it's here i get my reference from

so if anyone have a good list of styles answer this post

Cyberpunk 2020 has a long list of martial arts styles and an easy to read chart for cross referencing the styles with various categories of bonuses applicable to each. I recall a Cyberpunk 2020 website that has the complete list of martial arts and house rule additions. Can't remember the name but I should be able to find it tomorrow. O'Borg is the man when it omes to Cyberpunk, he could probably tell you.

In my campaign and in the Gunmaster:2000 conversion we use both Cyberpunk and Ninjas and Superspies for working out special moves and bonuses for martial arts.

By the way, melee includes the use of melee weapons.
