  • [TW 2013] Personal skill points to attributes

Is it 5 personal skill points to increase an attribute by 1 or is it 4 Page 93 says 5 and page 94 says 4.

Can you use professional skill points for raising attributes

  • #2
Professional skills can be used to raise attributes tied to that profession. (listed in each term's description).
Personal skill points can be used to raise any attribute,
but since the book is not 100% clear about it I choose to use the same 4pts ratio.
(this also simplifies things if a character pays to raise an attribute with a mix of both professional personal points totaling 4.

As I have understood it, you pay 4 points if you raise a attribute tied with a life path with that paths skill points. And 5 points if you do it with personal points.

That's how I understood it too.

Its also important to use those extra points to raise your education if you want to become go to University and become an Officer.

Correct. The relevant citations are at the bottom of page 92, spanning to page 93, under "Personal Skills" (second paragraph) and "Attributes".

              My bad.

Ok. I thought that they contradicted and it might have been a mistake.

              Thanks,

They don't as personal skill points and career skill points are not the same thing.

And if you do get it shot off, make sure you're dead, because if you ain't, guess who's gotta drag your sorry ass off the field?
