I find this blog is usually a pretty good read but this in particular I couldn't help posting here (even them I'm pretty sure anybody reading has probably forgotten more about the Fulda Gap than the writer knows).

In T2K the Soviets never came rolling through the Fulda Gap as everybody was expecting them to because the Germans started the war themselves and sent the Bundeswehr across the inter-German border with NVA assistance and attacked the Soviets in East Germany.Comment
