  • West Virginia Water or why we do what we do

I hope you have read about the chemical spill in West Virginia. It resulted in a NO USE of the city water system except for flushing toilets or fighting fires. NOTHING ELSE!!!

So this is a good reason to reflect on why we have our respective "stashes" and what use they could be in situations that are less than TEOTWAWKI.

Now that you bring it up, this could be a very definite possibility in a T2K environment. Hell, an adventure could be written around getting clean water to a town.

Know I remember why I keep seven cases of potable bottled water stashed away and several gallons of non-potable water as well. One thing I do see coming back are rain barrels and cleaned out constantly gutters to collect it. Then some sort of filtration system to clean that out as well.
