My nephew, James, joined the Army back in early September; he's with Big Red One as an 11b (Air Assault-type). He's just been notified he'll be in Afghanistan by the end of January. Kid's only 21. I admire his bravery, but I'm also worried for him. Wish him luck.

Best wishes and here's hoping he gets back to the land of the big PX the same way he left it.

Afghanistan is the good fight. He can serve his nation with pride. Respect to James I say.

He's in my thoughts and prayers along with the others. My oldest son just returned from his year in 'Stan.

Good luck to James. Hopefully, he won't need it.
