  • First in Google!

    Nice surprise!

I've just make a search of "Twilight 2000 forum" in Google and forum.juhlin.com appears the first in the list. Mmmmmm...ok, perhaps I'm late and everybody knew that... Anyway, congratulations Kato!

BTW! What was all this unusual activity yesterday at 11:06h For a moment it seemed as if about a dozen of guests were trying to register at the same time.

Congratulations Kato! Internet fame at last! We've a nice home from home here on the web and it always cheers me up getting to check in here. Sad maybe, but even when my numpty boss has pissed me off again there's usually something to make me smile here.

Thanks for the Kudos. I have actually been doing an experiment to raise my rankings. Looks like it worked

Those keywords have been tricky ones as antenna's forum has been number one since rpghost died. I was still number two in US searches (Google has different rankings in different countries) as recently as two weeks ago.

It is funny that rpghost is still there at number three as it has been gone for over 4 months.

We get attacked by spam registration bots about 40-70 times a day. They really batter themselves against our outer walls. I'll take a look at the logs but it might just have been chance that so many hit us at once, or a single attacker assumed I was blocking bad IP addresses so he tried a dozen to see if any get through.

        Edit
that was a weird one. 15 IPs in 2 minutes.

There are still plenty of live zombie-nets out there. Attacks are coordinated and arrive from all corners of the world.

We have not been hit by a zombie net yet. Doubt we ever would as we are not very high profile. They are just Black Hats using webbots from their own computers to raise search engine rankings for porn sites and such. It is part of the game now for anyone who runs a forum site.
