Yep. Lots of naval guns were re-purposed as shore batteries.
The aft main gun turrets from USS ARIZONA (BB-39) were removed and reinstalled in two shore batteries - one on the west coast of Oahu and one at Kaneohe Bay.
Heck, I could see Civil War-era forts and guns being pressed back into service... -
