Favorite Campaign Setting

The favorite campaign I ran took place in Florida (though it started in New York), so I put Other.

Since a mod said something about things, I have to leave this kinda silly comment.

If your game is set on Mars, It is going to suck for two reasons.
1. How in the world did they even get to Mars
2. They are all dead, with No air to breathe.

So I would have to say any game taking place on Mars would suck for a place to play in less you are running some very, very weird alt-world stuff.

Poland (the Kalisz-Vistula-Warsaw trilogy) followed by Germany then back to CONUS was our character/game group arc. My preference may be tinted by nostalgia but it worked well when we played.

Yeah, they were definitely cursed with geography that is easily invaded.

Poland for me, on timeline V1.0.

After that, its modern times in the worlds various hot spots as and when they occur.

Poland but I revamped pretty much everything after I learned that GDW didn't know anything about the East Bloc but to be fair almost nobody did at the time.

On the plus side I include all of NATO bar Turkey and all of the WTO in the war so you get to be any flavour of troop you want.

I voted for Poland as that is clearly my favourite but I've played that setting so many times now I also find that it's rarely something new and exciting. Therefore I've quite liked different, non Poland settings recently as the location can provide a "fresh" feel to the game.

I've not yet tried a Sweden game though, as the pronunciation of place names terrifies me! 😃
