  • v2.2 Special Injury Effects

As noted this is for the v2.2 system, but I was wondering if anyone had any house rules around certain special injuries and their effects on play

For instance, if someone loses a finger, or hand, forearm or even whole arm, assuming they survive, how would that effect their stats and game play from then on
Losing a foot, lower leg or whole leg.
    Losing an eye, or whatever.

I have a player who has a disability, and he wants to emulate that in the game world so I was wondering whether anyone had already come up with stat modifiers for such things

    Thanks in advance!

    v2.2 Special Injury Effects

They have results for this in the v. damage results.

    Example of critical hits:

    ARMS

D10 INJURY LETHAL TIME LIMIT EFFECTS HEAL TIME

10 Severed arm Yes Stretch Two-handed weapons cannot be used Permanent

    LEGS

D10 INJURY LETHAL TIME LIMIT EFFECTS HEAL TIME

1 Crushed toes No Running becomes a slow action 2D6
2 Dislocated knee No Can't run, only crawl D6
10 Severed leg Yes Stretch Can't run, MOBILITY 2 Permanent

Persona;lly, I have 4th ed. to work details like this into 2.2.

Personally I've revamped alot of the rules. Especially, the wounding system. The attached Word Doc is how I worked it out.

Excellent! Can even be modified up or down as needed for NPCs.

          Thank you both!
I'll have to take a look at those sources and see what I can find up with!
