  • Military Surplus Website (UK)

A work colleague just told me about this place

UK Ministry of Defence, Government and Nato Vehicles, Plant, Equipment, Spares and Tyres

They're based in Grantham, Lincolnshire, and are the Ministry of Defence's authorised agent for disposing of military surplus vehicles and other items. Going by their website they've just sold a fleet of 100 Saxon armoured personnel carriers. According to my colleague, they also have a number of WW2 era items.

Obviously in a T2K timeline the World's armies would be more likely to hang on to stuff rather than sell it off as surplus, but there's a possibility that some older kit would still end up at places like this which could be a treasure trove for marauders or local militias.

    Cheers

That's the one that's got me drooling!
Just imagine what you could do with one of them in your backyard!
If it moves, shoot it, if not push it, if it still doesn't move, use explosives.

Like I say, ebay motors has its own military vehicle section which has some interesting pieces from time to time.

And some of the museums, reinactors and private collections would also show up as well.

How many military bases have a old APC or Tank outside its front gate Now imagine a gearhead who gets ahold of it and makes that old relic of a vehicle operationalable with some now additions and twists!
