    Happy Independance Day to all our Colonials

    Hope you all have a great day and that the weather holds out for the parties, BBQ's and fireworks and that the hangovers aren't too bad tomorrow Have fun my friends.

        This is my favourite of holidays. And it was Jack's as well. He loved going to the parades on July 4th, and he really loved watching the fireworks.
        Fuck being a hero. Do you know what you get for being a hero? Nothing! You get shot at. You get a little pat on the back, blah blah blah, attaboy! You get divorced... Your wife can't remember your last name, your kids don't want to talk to you... You get to eat a lot of meals by yourself. Trust me kid, nobody wants to be that guy. I do this because there is nobody else to do it right now. Believe me if there was somebody else to do it, I would let them do it. There's not, so I'm doing it.

                I live on a loop with some of the best neighbors I ever had. On par with the people I grew up with. We do not have to lock our doors here. So, we block off both ends of the loop, and we have a block party

                One of us has access to a BBQ the kind that is hauled on a trailer

                And after sunset from somewhere some bad person who flaunts the law lets loose with a barrage of sky rockets that rival those given at the local parks.

                Oh yeah, and we usualy have a couple kegs, and vast quantities of margaruita flowing as well as other beverage. Alas, this year we didn't have time to get a whole pig for BBQing, so its just alot of burgers, hot dogs,ribs and other goodies but we will make do somehow!

                        Thank you, gentlemen. I hope this Fourth of July finds us better able to realize the Founders' vision. I hope as well this Fourth finds us in a better position to play the appropriate role in helping our fellow nations reach their potential, as well.
