Different idea about 2000 NATO offensive?
In recent weeks, we have been musing about the "real story" behind the mysteries of the XI Corps, 5th Mech Division, and so on. The Polish Free Congress/government-in-exile has been brought up, so here's my idea.
I'm wondering if the following isn't a possibility.

The Ruins of Warsaw
Webstral 11-20-2003, 08:02 PM I've been reading over the orbat for The Ruins of Warsaw and thinking about how the Baron Czarny might go about conquering Sielce. I know how I'd do it, but what relationship does that have to how the Black Baron would go about his task
The orbat...

Poland After OMEGA
I'm currently reading Rising '44 (by Norman Davies) about the valiant but doomed efforts of the AK (Polish Home Army) to liberate Warsaw ahead of the advancing Soviet Army in the late summer of 1944 and it's inspired me to try to steer the player group in my campaign towards helping the Poles whether...Last edited by Raellus; 01-15-2010, 06:52 PM.

So what happens to Poland?
I've read and liked many of your works posted here on America's recovery, the British and the Mexicans.
But this game is solely responsible for inspiring in me an interest in Polish history (sad stuff on the whole, btw). Has anyone written up their recovery After so many modules set...

Some New Files Posted
Anders Larsson has a couple of interesting files, but had no place to post them, so I offered to put them on my site for download. For the time being, they are the addresses below, but this may change in the future. Eventually, links will be put in on the home page itself.
The files...

Siege of Warsaw
Anyone out there ever done a write-up for the NATO and WP formations involved in the T2K siege of Warsaw
The PCs in my campaign will soon be arriving in the vicinity of that oft-besieged city and I want to get a little more specific in my description of the old battle area than "littered...

"Operation Reset" and "The free city of Krakow"
Bona nit!
I've just begin a new Twilight:2000 campaign with the "classical" setup, with the characters being members of the 5ht Infantry Division (Mechanized). Well, my campaign does not start with the group isolated in Poland after the failure of the NATO offensive...

T2K Fortification
I have no time now today but I start this just as a beginning. I'll put more posts ASAP.
I disagreed with prisons as efficient defensive positions but I found the point very interesting. What about other fortifications France has plenty and I'll try to come up with exemples soon. What...

Where are the Polish "Marines"?
Raellus 07-25-2008, 04:08 PM My copy of Osprey's Warsaw Pact Ground Forces (c. 1987) lists a Polish 7th "Lusation" Naval Assault Division (and army unit) but I can't find any mention of it in the v1.0 T2K canon history or any of the OOBs. It's supposed to be attached to the Pomeranian MD/II...
