Might easily translate into PCs and situations for T2K game. I'd drafted but never played out a 'recovery mission' were characters were to go into a hot zone that was formerly a major port to recover military assets on the pier when the port was nuked. Might change that a little after reading this article. Some areas might be a relatively peaceful and uncontaminated 'oasis' protected by prevailing winds, moutains...

so this thread inspired me to a massive undertaking. ive been scouring google images and pintrest for images: armies and places, pictures fitting of the late 80's and mid 90's. ill probly be doing this for the rest of my life. but im ok with that.
