I know all about having a stable job that isn't glamorous...I am presently an Assistant Manager at a movie theater. The pay isn't all that bad considering the area where I live, managers are all-but guaranteed 40+ hours/week, and the chances of getting laid-off are extremely slim. Plus it's really low-stress, so my blood pressure is comfortably under control.

December 1974, just turned 34 and as a special present it was my weekend to work, we'd 3 sold out concerts and a customer puked on me, all good fun! Work wise, I'm still managing in the students union bar and still enjoying it, even if my boss is a bit of a muppet.Last edited by TiggerCCW UK; 12-25-2008, 01:50 PM.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one bird.

70 here, a good year my dear
As for doing, returning to school and having to take all the junk science courses I avoided the first time, and working in the Emergency Room of the local hospital dealing with more non emergencies than real. On the plus side, the nurses, phlebologists and one of the PA's and some of the EMT girlies make for nice scenery."God bless America, the land of the free, but only so long as it remains the home of the brave."
