Cool, another 1966. BTW, got a new job hauling auto parts around. Not glorious when compared to the times I was in IT and accounting but it pays the bills and people are not buying new cars but keeping their old jalopies running. I'm in that crowd too. I know all about having a stable job that isn't glamorous...I am presently an Assistant Manager at a movie theater. The pay isn't all that bad considering the area where I live, managers are all-but guaranteed 40+ hours/week, and the chances of getting laid-off are extremely slim. Plus it's really low-stress, so my blood pressure is comfortably under control.Comment

October 1961 here. Currently employed as credit manager for an upmarket wine importer in London, my blood pressure isn't doing great in the current economic climate but at least I get to bring home L30+ bottles of wine a few evenings a week.Comment

December 1974, just turned 34 and as a special present it was my weekend to work, we'd 3 sold out concerts and a customer puked on me, all good fun! One of the perks I like where I work at is sometimes the company buys lunch and I get a 20% discount on parts. My 1994 Explorer needs a lot of parts, sometimes I think it is sheer will that keeps it going.Originally posted by Littlearmies

As for doing, returning to school and having to take all the junk science courses I avoided the first time, and working in the Emergency Room of the local hospital dealing with more non emergencies than real. On the plus side, the nurses, phlebologists and one of the PA's and some of the EMT girlies make for nice scenery.
