Lot of time ago (2005 if I'm correct), there was a forum in the famous website orbat.com where some people posted lot of info on OOBs for Soviet Armed Forces. I think that you know what I say and I think that guy was Chico.
I recently found what I saved from the website and I like to...

Matt Wiser 01-19-2004, 12:54 AM Here's a Soviet Navy carrier group and then a Surface Action Group and an ASW group for SOVPACFLT in the Winter War:

Accounting for Soviet Divisions
Webstral 02-05-2003, 01:30 AM I just received the Soviet Vehicle Guide [V1] and spent some time doing some accounting. (There are silver linings for having been laid off.) I came up with some interesting items.
1) The entire book lists 205 formations. Take away the...

I decided to open a new thread. Here I'll post all the information I have on TOEs for Soviet and Warsaw Pact Forces. First of all I'll post the material on the T2K books and then other stuff.
If other people are interested too in this thread, please go ahead and post what do you have...

WarPac Vehicle Guide?
Hello guys! I was wondering... you know if there is something like a Warsaw Pact Vehicle Guide Maybe some Twilight enthusiast got the idea in the past and write something like that.
For example, I remember a nice "Czechoslovak Vehicle Guide" on Chico's T2k file dump. Other stuff...

Preview of Soviet Vehicle Guide 1.5
While Jason is the lead for the DC Group's new version of the v1 Soviet Vehicle Guide, I recently put together a small piece on the tanks of the Soviet Army during the war.
It's very graphics-heavy, too large to post directly here. It's located at http://mysite.verizon.net/vzeedox4/...

In Defense of the Red Army
I just finished Red Army by Ralph Peters, a fine novel of WWIII set in Europe. What sets this novel apart from contemporaries like Red Storm Rising and Team Yankee is that it is written entirely from the POV of its Soviet protagonists. It's very well written and focuses more on the various characters...Last edited by Raellus; 06-20-2009, 06:58 PM.

Map of USSR nuclear strikes.
The strikes are kinda small since the country is so large but hopefully you can get an idea of the impact areas. When I get my new interactive map up and running you will be able to zoom in on any strike and change the background maps [Map/Sat/Terrain/Topo(US Only)]

Russian Army OOB
As for the other countries, I put up what I designed for Russia. As for most other OOB, these were made from more recent elements than normal T2K. Nevertheless, they could easily be addapted as they were made from several sources taken from the original game.
One could say that finding...

KGB Border Guard Orbat
for the first time in (unclassified!) English, it's the KGB Border Guards. For more details on these guys, there is a description in the RDF Sourcebook. Most of these units remained "Border Guard Brigades", with only one mechanized infantry battalion and limited heavy weapons and armored...Last edited by chico20854; 01-09-2009, 11:58 PM.

Real Secret Soviet AFB near Prague..
Great for your campaign..
An Abandoned Soviet AFB that I've been too maybe a dozen times for music videos and film shoots. You can see it very well in Lord of War. Scene where Nic Cage's character goes to buy all of those T-72s in the Ukraine was filmed there.
I know of...

The Soviet Navy in T2K (c. 1996)
Raellus 07-16-2008, 02:13 PM This is something I whipped up on the hypothetical Soviet Navy of the Twilight War. I did this mostly to amuse myself but I'm posting it in the hopes that at least one or two folks 'round these parts find it helpful or interesting.
The Soviet Navy...
