Does anyone have the statistics of racial breakdown in COMBAT units in Vietnam, the histories I have seen seem to imply an army in line with national percentages but the less educated minorities serving in the front line.

This exact subject came up in a thread within the last six months. I wish I could remember the title or topic of that thread. The nature of this forum is such that if it isn't in the thread map it takes hours to go searching for specific scraps of conversation.
