ReHerakhte 08-22-2005, 06:28 AM G'Day all,
Came across this today while I was trawling through the Post Apocalyptic Media site and hit a link to follow up on the product improved version of the South African 6-rd MGL
Now the new launcher is all very nice but the new...

Weapons Timelines for the Twilight War
I don't know why I keep coming back to this, but I like to think about the weapons and equipment that would likely be fielded in the Twilight War, especially in the later years, in contrast to what was fielded at that time IRL. A lot of this has been covered in other threads, but I couldn't resist a...

I just got pay tv, so future weapons was one of the first shows on.
It might have been a new episode, it might have been a replay. But it doesnt really matter.
Anyone have stats (paul) for a Dillion gattling gun I missed the actual model number it had. But i think Dillon...

AT Guns
I find it odd that the Soviet and WARPACT armies developed and deployed conventional anti-tank guns while NATO did not. I find it especially odd since Soviet-bloc armies were built for offense while NATO was preparing to fight largely defensively (on the ground, at least).

http://www.pmulcahy.com/misc_pages/Page%20045.jpg
I've looked on all the sites mentioned in the ad, as well as a Google search. It looks like an AK5 with an underbarrel 12-gauge shotgun tipped with a shot spreader....

Archaic weapons.
Does anyone have an archaic weapons list and stats I'm thinking for old musket type weapons, black powder weapons, bows and melee weapons, as well as old black powder type artillery. In my campaign such weapons are becoming more popular and common because they are easier to make and supply than more...

Military Shotguns
What were the standard military shotguns for the various NATO armies in the mid to late '90s
I've seen U.S. army troops using both Mossbergs and Remingtons (various models) so it just kind of seems like the army, at least, buys a little of this and a little of that (or perhaps soldiers...

What happened to all those guns?
I was re-reading Urban Guerilla and was puzzled a lack of firearms in the hands of anti-New America militias. I think this was used as a plot device without thought of the huge number of firearms in the U.S. Estimates from the late 1990's indicate approximately 65 million handguns, 70 million rifles,...Last edited by kato13; 02-17-2010, 06:45 AM.

Hey everyone I liked the Favorite U.S weapons post so much I thought I do another one for Pact weapons
Assualt Rifle:
AMD-65, which is a variant of your typical AKM type rifle, but with a shorter barrel, gas tube and it has a folding stock permanently attached to the back of the...Last edited by Brother in Arms; 12-12-2008, 06:16 PM.

Your favorite weapons U.S
OK everyone you all know that I am a firearms nerd and I surf the internet in search of the perfect pictures of guns. I decided to make "your favorites" post of T2K weapons so here are mine. I decided to choose only U.S weapons for this one, because there are so many firearms I like. All...Last edited by Brother in Arms; 12-10-2008, 01:26 AM.

Rules about tracers.
A post in the Firing Ports thread (the use of tracers in the M231's) has awoken my curiosity.
Is anyone using any houserule / rule covering the use of tracers
